The Simple Things We Do
- All lighting and electrical devices are powered down nightly to conserve energy. Where any device has an energy saving feature this is enabled.
- Ensuring that we upgrade our dated technology with newer energy efficient models, improving both performance, energy consumption and efficiency.
- We minimise the use of paper in the office.
- We seek to buy recycled and recyclable paper products.
- We reuse and recycle all paper where possible.
- We reduce the need to travel, restricting to necessary trips only.
- We promote the use of travel alternatives such as e-mail or video/phone conferencing.
- We support home working and flexible working hours.
- Cleaning materials used will be as environmentally friendly as possible.
Our Products and Processing Efficiency
- We offer a large range of products using recycled materials, suggesting these to clients wherever possible
- We endeavour to use recycled/re-worked packaging.
- Our orders are (where possible) batched and processed in bulk to minimise the number of consignments.
- We have chosen UPS for shipping orders to our customers. With pollution prevention and resource conservation at the heart of their environmental policy we feel we are working with a partner who actively strives to minimise their impact on the environment
- We encourage all our partners, customers and suppliers to share our environmental concern and implement their own policies and practices to minimise the impact that they have on the environment.
